HANOI, Sept 1 (Bernama) -- Algeria is seen as a huge potential market for Vietnamese agricultural exports since almost all key farm products shipped are not grown in the African country, Vietnam news agency quoted Commercial Counsellor in Algeria Nguyen Van Mui as saying Wednesday.
Algeria’s government has told Orascom Telecom Holding SAE that it has formed a group to negotiate the possible purchase of the company’s unit in the country, a person familiar with the matter said.
Algeria’s government appointed a company to assess the value the local unit of Orascom Telecom Holding SAE as part of its plan to acquire it, Al Khabar newspaper reported, citing a senior government official it didn’t identify.
